Miyu Productions, the award-winning French production company, has announced its partnership with international distributor Serious Kids for the global sales of its upcoming animated series Claudy.

In France, the series will air on France Télévisions, the country’s leading platform for animated content. Claudy is a 52 x 13-minute animated comedy-adventure series for children aged 6 to 10. The series is created by Luce Cote-Colisson and Lucie Rouxel, and directed by Nicolas Bougard (Oggy Oggy Short, Zig & Sharko…) with head writing lead by Hugo Gittard (Hubert & Takako, Mr Magoo…). Currently in production, the series takes place in a magical world above the clouds, where the Little People of the Clouds diligently manage Earth’s climate from sunrise to sunset.
Thanks to them, rain follows sunshine, lightning follows thunder, and no two snowflakes are ever the same. Guided by their Queen, the different cloud squads operate in perfect harmony. Each member naturally and enthusiastically embraces their role—every member, that is, except Claudy, the youngest of them all. While she should already have found her place within one of the sky’s many weather crews, Claudy seems fascinated by everything except the job she’s supposed to do. She’s never shown much interest in making the weather—and while that’s unusual, it’s not seen as a problem. The others simply accept her as a little… different. After all, they’re a pretty easy-going bunch.
Unburdened by the responsibilities that occupy her peers and driven by endless curiosity, Claudy teams up with her best friend Flash, a bold and unpredictable member of the Lightning Clan. Together, the two set off on wild adventures— sometimes perilous, often hilarious, always fast-paced and fantastically surreal.

We saw in Claudy everything that excites us in an animated series: a bold 2D visual style with a strong artistic identity, a narrative that breaks free from conventions, and a world that’s as funny and offbeat as it is warm and endearing.
It’s essential for us to support ambitious kids’ programming that brings people together while also addressing the issues that matter most to the next generation. In that sense, Claudy fits perfectly within the mission of public service broadcasters in Europe. France Télévisions, who has been a committed partner since the project’s early stages, was the natural home for the series in France.
We’re also thrilled to have Serious Kids on board for international sales. They immediately saw the show’s potential and are the right partner to help make Claudy a lasting, premium series on the global stage.
Emmanuel-Alain Raynal and Pierre Baussaron, Producers at Miyu
We first saw Claudy at Cartoon Forum and were also very impressed by Miyu’s line up at Annecy last year and started discussions. Now we are signed, Serious Kids is searching for another major broadcast partner to join France Télévisions for this great comedy series for 2027.
Serious Kids
We are thrilled to welcome Claudy to our line-up. This character-driven series won us over with its playful tone, rich visual universe, and bold, quirky heroes. Claudy and Flash embark on climate-themed adventures, and despite their differences and occasional disagreements, they always find collaborative solutions.
France Télévisions
This partnership with France Télévisions will further solidify its domestic reach and the collaboration with Serious Kids gives Claudy the chance to reach a wider young audience beyond France.
