Animation UK at the Heart of the Children’s Media Conference 2022

Opinion  |  30 June 2022

Three Children’s Media Conference sessions, three topics, lots of experts and Animation UK is at the heart of the annual event to debate the big issues of today.

This year at CMC, Animation UK is sponsoring Animation Assemble!, taking place on Wednesday, 6 July at 5pm. This session will look at the power of animation to bring positive change – and ask: ‘can the industry do better?’.

On Thursday, 7 July at 9:30am, Oli Hyatt of Blue Zoo (Founder of Animation UK) will be one of the panelists of The Young Audiences Content Fund – What Next? session, which will give everyone present the chance to join the debate and help shape the future of the children’s media landscape in the UK.

Last, but not least, Kate O’Connor, Animation UK Executive Chair, and Mark Taylor, Animation UK Council Member, will be on the panel at the UK Creativity – Talent-driven and World Beating session on Thursday, 7 July from 11am. This event will look at why the UK is attracting children’s companies and investment from overseas and what it means for the UK industry and talent.

We are delighted to partner with the Children’s Media Conference and hope to see as many of you there as possible!
