Le Rendez-Vous is the flagship of the association organised every year by TV France International. This market is strictly focused on French TV programs, giving foreign buyers the opportunity to screen the best selection of the recent French TV offer; more than one-thirds of the programs are new and have never been screened before in any other international market. In 2018, 66 sellers and 277 buyers attended the event.
It is an opportunity for the 130 French exporters members of TV France International to introduce their latest slate of programs (series, TV movies, animation, documentaries, magazine) to 250+ international acquisition executives from 60+ countries. The event targets television channels and content for other media: platforms, DVD, VoD, SVOD, IPTV, airlines, etc.
The market is specifically dedicated to French programs, allowing foreign buyers to watch the best of the recent French television offer; more than two thirds of the works are presented for the first time on the international market. In 2018, 66 sellers and 277 international buyers participated in the event.
A SHOWCASE FOR FRENCH TV PRODUCTION
Le Rendez-Vous includes a digital video library with over 160 screening stations, allowing buyers to watch via VoD the very best and latest French television production. The three-day market gives unlimited access to 1,100+ programs, available for screening, most of them never being shown before. Each year, the library generates around 9,000 screenings. For the second year, some of the functions of the screening room powered by Screenopsis will be available online to enable live interaction between buyers and sellers or buyers and their team.
